Build-A-Bear Workshop Official T-Shirt Design Contest

1. Promoter: The promoter of this competition is Build-A-Bear Workshop Australia. The competition is conducted in Australia.

2. Competition Period: The competition opens on the 6/03/2026 and closes at 11:59PM 25/03/2026. Entries received outside the Competition Period will not be accepted.

3. Eligibility: Entry is open to residents of Australia. Entrants under 18 years of age must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.

4. How to Enter

To enter, participants must:

• Obtain the official plain t-shirt colouring sheet in-store or via download;
• Create an original design on the sheet; and
• Submit the completed design via [submission method: in-store / online upload / email / Facebook or Instagram DM] during the Competition Period.

Entry is free. Multiple entries are not permitted. Entries must be the entrant’s original work and must not infringe any third-party rights.

5. Judging & Community Vote: Valid entries will be shortlisted by the Promoter. Shortlisted designs will be presented for a community vote conducted via Instagram. The entry receiving the highest number of valid votes will be deemed the winner. The Promoter reserves the right to verify votes and disqualify fraudulent or automated voting.

6. Prize: The winner will receive:

• Their winning design produced and sold on a Build-A-Bear t-shirt for a limited time; and
• One (1) AUD $100 Build-A-Bear voucher.

The total prize value is approximately AUD $100. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.

7. Intellectual Property & Ownership: By submitting an entry, entrants confirm their design is original and does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.

Assignment upon Winning: As a condition of accepting the prize, the winner (and parent/guardian if under 18):

• irrevocably assigns to Build-A-Bear Australia all right, title and interest (including copyright) in the winning design;
• agrees that Build-A-Bear Australia will own the design outright; and
• acknowledges they will not receive royalties or further compensation beyond the stated prize.

Licence for All Entries
By entering, each entrant grants Build-A-Bear Australia a non-exclusive, national, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, publish and display their submitted design for the purposes of:

• administering the competition.
• marketing and promotional activities; and
• showcasing entries online or in-store.8. Moral Rights Consent: Entrants consent to Build-A-Bear Australia using, modifying or adapting their design and agree not to assert any moral rights in relation to the use of the design. Build-A-Bear Australia may credit the designer but is not obliged to do so.

9. Content Guidelines

Entries must not include content that is:

• offensive, defamatory, discriminatory or inappropriate for children;
• infringing on third-party rights; or
• contrary to law.

Build-A-Bear Australia reserves the right to reject any entry that does not comply.

10. Winner Notification

The winner will be notified via Instagram or email within 2 days of the vote closing. If the winner cannot be contacted within 3 days the Promoter may select an alternative winner.

11. Privacy: Information will be used for administering the competition and related marketing (where consent is given).
